Ripley's to offer alternative Christmas Grotto
This Christmas, London’s newest attraction - Ripley’s Believe It or Not! ® - the global authority on the weird, strange and bizarre is hosting the only grotto in town with a watershed and family entertainment throughout the month of December including Christmas Day & Boxing Day.
The perfect destination for post work entertainment and a great antidote to scrooge bosses and axed Christmas parties, Ripley’s watershed grotto is open from 10-11pm every Thursday night in Dec*. Grown-ups are invited to sit on the knee of Ripley’s very own sexy Santa and tell him what they really want for Christmas or pose for a picture with the sauciest girl elves in town. And just like visiting Santa as a child you won’t go home empty handed as you get to delve into Santa’s sack to choose yourself a surprise present.
For families who have overdosed on the in-laws, are bored of television repeats or sick of sitting around eating left-overs. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! at 1 Piccadilly Circus offers festive fun and entertainment that everyone will enjoy. Every Saturday in December and every day between Christmas and New Year visitors will be treated to live festive performances from the human present, man–in-a gift box Maynard Flip Flap, a contortionist Father Christmas, a trio of Miming elves and a 12ft inflatable Santa.
Little ones and big kids alike will marvel at the unbelievable acts and enjoy the weird and wonderful Christmas atmosphere created within Ripley’s Believe It or Not! From Robert Wadlow the World’s tallest man dressed as the World’s tallest Father Christmas, the famous carol singing Sprats, incredible Xmas facts and shrunken-head baubles on an upside down tree, Ripley’s is the best attraction in London for families looking for something different over the holidays.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum offers a unique mixture of entertainment, education and fun for the entire family - appealing to anyone with a basic sense of curiosity. Guests of all ages will appreciate the 800-plus authentic, original and unbelievable exhibits.
