Circa 1840s; made in Boston; to be used by travelers to Transylvania in case they meet with a vampire; contains, a gun, silver bullets, a crucifix, garlic, and of course a stake (amongst other things) all in a finely crafted wooden carrying case ---- totally serious: no traveler would be caught dead without one...
